Start from someone's itinerary
Real itineraries, written by the people who travelled them, ready to become the starting point for yours. There are still few of them. That's the part we're growing, and yours would help.

Before you ask
- Do I need an account?
- Not to start. You can mark 10 places before we ask for one; after that an account keeps the map going, on every device. Removing and looking around stay free, and so does the map you have already made.
- Is it free?
- Yes. It lives on affiliate links — when you book a stay or a tour through one, we earn a commission and you pay the same price — and every source of data we use allows commercial use. It's written out on the data sources page.
- Who sees my map?
- Nobody sees which places you have marked. Your profile page — name, nickname, the countries you have visited and how many places in each — is on from the moment you sign up: anyone with its link can open it, search engines don't index it, and you can make it private whenever you want, from your settings.
- Where do the places come from?
- GeoNames, Wikidata, Natural Earth and OpenStreetMap. When one is missing it's usually because no open dataset has it yet. Tell us and we add it by hand.
