Terms of Service

The service

Travelerwall lets you mark on a map the places you have been to and the ones you want to see, and plan and share trips. It is free, and is provided by Travelerwall, in Italy.

Without an account

Without an account you can mark up to 10 places. To mark more, save your map, share it or plan a trip you need an account, with an email and password or with Google. How we process data is explained on the Privacy page.

Your account

• Use a valid email address and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens with your account.
• You must be at least 16 to create one.
• You can delete it at any time from settings: deleting the account deletes your map, trips and profile.

Your content

Your maps, trips and notes remain yours. You only allow us to store them and show them as the service provides: to you, to the people you invite, to anyone who receives the link to what you share and, for the trips you publish, in Discover.

Do not add content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.

Sharing

Your profile is active from the moment you create your account and can be seen by anyone with its link; you can make it private at any time. What you share through a link is visible to anyone who receives it.

Fair use

You may not:

• damage, overload or circumvent the working of the site;
• extract data automatically or in bulk;
• impersonate others or use reports to send spam;
• use the service for unlawful purposes.

In these cases the account may be suspended or removed.

Geographic data

Geographic data comes from open sources, listed on the Data sources page, and is provided as is. Do not rely on it for navigation where an error could have consequences.

Affiliate links

The site contains affiliate links: if you buy through one of them, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. Purchases made on other sites are governed by their terms.

Liability

The service is provided as is and as available, and may change or be interrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. The rights that consumer law in your country grants you are not affected.

Ending the service

You can stop using Travelerwall and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If the service shuts down, we will announce it in advance so that you can take your data with you.

Changes

These terms may change. Significant changes will be announced before they take effect; by continuing to use the service you accept them.
